OK... no job for me at the Zoo, but I've been talking with the HR director at the college... and for some strange reason, working at a college seems like "home" to me! I have a very good feeling about it. I'll keep you posted!

... and just now I spoke with Barbara at the college, where they were already talking about a start-date, even though we hadn't met yet... but Barbara and I agreed that meeting beforehand would be wise, so I have an interview on Tuesday!

Everything happens for a reason... we may not know what that reason is, but I am glad that things are moving in this direction!

Ok, so you may already have experiance in what to wear for a college interview, but I would still recomend the birthday suit, it shows that you've nothing to hide!

Best of luck to you Wyld :D I hope you get the job....Colleges and Universities are awesome to work at. Great benefits, lots of time off, and lot of staff privileges like parties, bonuses, and awards. How I know, I work at a college and enjoying my relaxing three month vacation. Such a bum bum that the summer whizzes by so fast like a revolting turbo time tunnel :roll:

Thank you everyone for your good wishes and blundervibes!

I'll be starting my new job on August 1, at Colorado College! I'll be in one of the administrative offices, and I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone there. (It sure seems like there are a lot of "us" there!)

Of course, working at a college is a lot like working at a zoo... (what, you never saw "Animal House"?) I'm sure I'll be happy there!
