I can't wait!! Is Sherry going to post an updated Wish List? Or have I missed it? The quilt top is finished, but it won't be all quilted (school got in the way) (not to mention Olivia) but I will show & tell, and maybe we can have an old-fashioned quilting bee at the tailgate party!!! I can't wait for you all to see it, and I sure hope you are going to like it.

My older daughter is coming from MD to make sure the younger kids remember to go to school on Monday morning. We will be staying on Friday, Sat and Sun nights, with tickets to Saturday and Sunday's concerts. For anyone who is coming to the Church for the first time--it's everything you think it will be!! (and more). See y'all soon!

That's an improvement over the weather at the Ramblin' Jack gig last night. (which was wonderful btw) Local forecast included frost warnings. Larry and I pitched in parking cars and it got pretty nippy out there. but you never know this time of year, weather could call for anything from t-shirts to flannel, sweaters to parkas.

There's been a slight change of plans.Our eldest daughter will be driving Grammy and Grampa Bear to Housatonic.Our thoughtful son-in-law booked us a room at a motel near the church Saturday night.We don't have tickets for Sat., but it will give us a chance to rest up before Sunday.
The chemo didn't do as well as hoped,but I will be starting new therapy with a combo of radiation and chemo.I told my Doc that it would have to wait until after the big weekend so I would be up for it.He seemed understanding.
Anyone wanting to try Grammy Bear's homemade soaps better put in your requests here.We'll bring along free samples.I think we still have some Nag Champa.(I heard it was Arlo's favorite incense).About how many usually attend the tailgate party?

If you're out near Richmond, VA my cousin Jason Mraz the folksinger is doing a show at the Landmark Theatre tonite 7:30 pm. We are going & are excited! This was the place Arlo appeared at last time he was in Richmond. Jason is co-headlining with Michele Branch. Agnes,that's a funny story.I put some slices of "Seamist" homemade soap (my favorite) in a little web bag and use it as an air freshener in the car.It works great.The "soap sachets" were a hot seller at the last craft fair.

I checked to see what we have on hand for sachets.We've got "Almond Joyous",Berry Tea,
Gardenia,Honey/Beer,Lavender,Lilac,Nag Champa,Strawberry,Vanilla and Vanilla/ Rose.Take your pick and I'll be sure to save a free sample for you.
