Ugh...Actyually maybe its dislexia.. Maybe its actually not a 13 on the calender but a 31. Oh man the summer is almost over..

Family story...

My father's 13th birthday fell on Friday the 13th - in 1935. He claims to have done everything he could think of for "bad luck" ... had a black cat cross his path, walked under a ladder, spilled salt, etc (I don't think he broke a mirror, though).... and found a five-dollar bill! A treasure to a thirteen-year-old in the middle of the great depression!

I grew up in a house numbered 13, too.... 13 doesn't bother me - in fact I kinda like it. I guess fear of Friday the thirteenth is an inherited characteristic?

If there was ever a 13th month out of the whole calendar year, just think of what will happen three years from now on the 13th day in 13 and the month 13 if there will be one evented :o

This is why they don't have a 13th floor in buildings...

....and most short lived TV series get cancelled after 13 episodes, I can name one series with a character who applied for a job washing underwear but got turned down then enrolled at the Palmer School, had the hots for a lady Dean at school, and went out on a date with a young girl had an elegant dinner at Chuck E. Cheese...his last name rhymes with "swoon!"

and apropos of nothing else...

Cheryl Harrell, i'm sorry to mention this, but i keep looking at the avatar/picture you have here of your late great departed Mike, and I can't help but notice that I think he's been eating that same plate of food for quite some time now, and I think he's gained a few pounds...
Do you have any photos of him running track, riding a bicycle, or taking a brisk walk??

just sayin'...
