That's great news, Kim. Healing thoughts and vibes at yer Dad.

And, yep! I agree. Smokin's really tough to quit. I did, quite some time ago, but had to get a real bad case of the flu first. Two weeks before I had tried to quit but couldn't. But when I came down with the flu I convinced myself that the withdrawl symptoms were the flu symptoms and it worked! I figured that if I already felt like crap that I might as well go for it and blame the feelin' yucky on the flu. May not work for everyone, but it did for me.

Now I'm almost sorry I said anything. Lectures make it harder, not easier. But the point is Kim's dad, not this, as I was trying to say. Continued vibes to Kim and to him and the family.

Hey, Shell! I wasn't lecturin'. Just thought I'd post the way I quit in case it might help somebody. And folks want you to quit because they love ya. And that's what this thread is also about.... love!

"All you need is love, luv.
Love is all you need" -some Brit guys said that!

I wasn't lecturing either. I hated it when folks started in on me.

Blaming the flu for your withdrawl symptoms is great! A much better way to quit than the way I did, that's for sure.
