...well, Joe, the thing is that the tickets aren't actually tickets.....i mean, you know, there are no real tickets at all......that's just what they call 'em....you can't see 'em, you
can't hold 'em, frame 'em, or forget 'em....but they'll get you in, alright...

Djembe is an African drum, somewhere between bongo and conga..... you can hear one on Christopher Williams' website
Check out track 4 on Side Streets Live... "These Days"... he accompanies himself with only the Djembe... We saw him in Okemah and were blown away!

Djembe drums are varied in size, material and tone, but they are marvelously portable. I love the djembes when they are used en masse at drum circle events... when the drums start, my feet can't stay still!

My cousin Jason Mraz has a Djembe drum player named Toca Rivera that backs him up. He's real good. So when I saw Djembe, I thought of Toca...

My cousin has a Djembe player, too.

Altho' I never knew why, considering my cousin is a window replacement contractor.
