first, thanks to all of you for the love and support. we felt all the hugs and the vibes and it means more than you know.

juliana was born into heaven at 10:55 pm on 7/14, surrounded by her whole family. she was so very tiny, 11 1/4" long and 1 lb, 1 oz. we were all able to hold her for a few moments and that was wonderful, bittersweet to be sure, but wonderful. the nurses in the hospital were the very best and made a difficult situation much easier. god bless those women! tara and ethan have been handling the whole thing with a sense of grace and maturity that is amazing to watch. not that they don't have dark days, and will continue to, i'm sure, but mostly they're doing okay.

last saturday, we buried her on top of her great-great grandmother where she, again, is surrounded by family. we know she's with them now, and knowing how todd felt about seeing his little grandbaby, i'm sure he's taking care of mine now. that makes me smile...

thanks again to all of you! we feel so blessed to have such wonderful friends!

I know it all could not have been easy for you, and still must be hard, but know that you are still in my thoughts.
