My son put up a chatroom for us to try and see if we like it.

It requires the latest version of java. If you go there and it doesn't work, there is a link at the bottom that says:
If this page doesn't load, you probably need to go HERE to update your Java.

He was able to get it to work on his Mac using the Safari browser. Otherwise, Mac users should click on manual download for Mac instructions.

So how about tomorrow night?

Go update your java. Now Kid!

Tomorrow sounds good, except I don't know if I'll be home in time... I'll be at the Highwaymen show at the Church. I'll try...

How about a second blat opportunity on Sunday evening, for those of us who miss Friday?

Blatting on Friday AND Sunday night sounds great to me--we can work out the kinks tonight, and hear about Louise's trip (and her new see-dee) on Sunday (her Monday). See you there, then!

I updated the Java and it still didn't work... got a message that the class "Chat" not found... that may be a file that has to be uploaded to the server for this page to work. I've used Java before and if even one file isn't uploaded the whole program doesn't work.

It works just fine for me in Mac OSX, using Safari. It didn't work with Explorer, though. Jay got in okay with Windows and Explorer.
