Thanks everyone,.......I hear you Cheryl.......I tried to give her a glucogon shot but she was too combative and tried to kick the crap out of me,.....so 911 was the only choice,....man was she surprised to come around and find officer obie and fireman frank in our bedroom at 2:00 in the AM. She carries the meter everywhere now and wont get in the car without checking it, ...and things are more or less back to normal, whatever that is (the mental heebie jeebies about "what if I had killed someone" are faded) . It's the nature of the beast, you can go along for years without much serious complications and then "whap!" swallowed by a giant clam. Dig this,...the darn Mass Pike billed us for the sign ! Thats Amerika.

So sorry to hear about your wife. Mike has gotten comabtive before when going low. So scary. Once Mike & I were have diabetic mood swings & we got into a stupid argument as to whether or not Arlo was at Woodstick. Mike swore he wasn't & I told him he was too. I finally convinced him Arlo had been at Woodstock. The disease can do all sorts of stuff to ya. My late grandma went into a coma due to diabetes & had passed out numerous times. So scary. Good luck with your wife...

I'm glad that your wife is doing better. As for the bill for the sign. That would happen over here too, but isn't that covered through your car insurance´?
