Hey - I'm one of the few people in my family that has managed to keep my name - when my parents finally thought of somethign to call me (besides whoops) I figured Id keep it. Although Ive had multiple short term nicknames in between.

On my birth certificate it just says "Faith" (my maiden name)...not baby girl faith - just Faith - so I guess that's why I have tried to hold onto Reg(ina) (AND no, I won't post my BC to prove it LOL)

My CB handle was Pink Squirrel. It was my favorite drink at the time, and I drive (and walk) like a squirrel. Picture a squirrel crossing a road run, pause, run, indecision, run, back to where they came from...repeat. That's me. Someone also once told me that me & the drink usually had too much vodka in us. - THAT was a long time ago.

The ideas so far have been good, but I still dont think we have captured her essence. ANd by the way - ...with everything else Ive mentioned...this kid CAN party. Mary Poppins...she aint. Rememeber your getting a "Mom/Aunt" description from me and Ceashell. And I do think she's earned a nickname and Blunder status.

Sorry for the double post; the internet at the motel in the Berks really sucked.
A name that comes from your real name that is commonly used to title you isn't really a nickname (it's your NAME and what everyone knows you as!) ....and in my case I've NEVER used Susan...nor has my family. It's just what appears on my driver's license and passport.
It's the same deal with my sister...everyone knows her as Lizz, (she'll also answer to Lizzard!) and my parents only used "Elisabeth" when she was in deep trouble.

...it probably depends on which wife you're talking about...I think he calls one "Linda" and the other one he probably has unprintable names for.

Huh, Sue? Are we talking about the same Paul and Kristen? :? Or did you take some of that question that Cliffite gave on Blunder Jeopardy this afternoon?

I was referring to the Paul who penned and sang these lyrics!

I think Paul calls her Kristen. Her family seems to call her Krissie, but that reminds me of the scatterbrain on 3's company, who I never cared for, so I call her Kristen too. If Paul- either my son, or McCartney - has a nick name for her, I am not aware of it.

Geepers gang - I thought this would be so easy.

But now we have a nick name for Nancy - "Magill"
