This is fun!! We've spent a lot of your birthdays together, at someones house (people who neither one of us knew) with two giant dogs and an equally tiny living room. A classy restaurant that sat on top of a not so classy bar with your folks and your friends, and the coolest one when Arlo sang your favorite song - and everyone knew it was for you = EXCEPT YOU!!!. I'll never forget when you turned around you had 5 rows of people on every side of you - staring at you with big dopey grins on their faces....& You were like "What???" It was great!! Your birthday has kind of gotten to be the start of gig season for me...so that is as sweet as you!! Enjoy your hoagies and your friends....and on to many more terrific memories of your birthdays to come.

I think I finally got it....didn't I? Well, at least, after you told me about it after the show. I remember I was very happy, and that after the show, JC took a picture of Arlo and me, so we could be "together forever on a refrigerator magnet", to quote AG, and so far we have been.

I really do love birthdays, especially birthdays celebrated with you guys! And I'm very happy to start off "gig season" for you!
