great time had by all on the first night of the revival under the harvest moon. Arlo, Abe and Gordon were in grand spirits after their little rest from being overseas. setlist will follow soon. Wyldflower seemed to be in high spirits (and looks to be adjusting well after her ordeal) as well as Msfitz and Judy. hope the rest of the shows are fun and exciting as was tonights. time for me to get some zzzz's. have a great time for those of you going to the other shows
i bid you good night, peace, freaky

That was a truly great weekend! Bob and I just stayed over Sat-Sun as usual. Arlo was great, the weather was great, everyone was great and the missing were missed. Arnie, too bad you didn't ride up. Bob had a ticket for Saturday night but was unable to use it due to being the designated Mets game watcher. Who knew they were going to be in a position to win the first playoff round that night?

It was wonderful to connect with the people who did make it. Connie, big hats off to you. You've got game! Chuck must be down a couple of tanks of gas, too, with all the rides he was giving out. Wyld, you'll be in our thoughts, although we're sure that things will continue to go well for you. Anyway, we love you all, present and absent.

well that's it, you got me pat! I was too embarrassed to show up without extra seats to give away! I'm so glad someone kept up such a time honored tradition! I promise to make every effort to return to form by next october!
Meanwhile, I'm so glad you were able to make it, and that the Mets managed to keep half of NY happy!
Now where the hell are my carnegie tix? Or is George planning to stand by the door there too?

Ok...in short: It was great, it's always great and unless I get abducted by aliens, I'll be there next year too. No sense getting abducted by aliens when ya' can just go tailgate with them on your own anyway! :)

Arnie, your Carnegie tickets should arrive....sometime soon. I asked Cathy what the scoop was a couple weeks ago. She said the checks had arrived, seats had been assigned, and she was just waiting to get the actual tickets from Carnegie so she could mail them out to people. So the tickets will arrive, all in good Blunder time.

We're home safe and what passes for sound. We both took today off too, so we had a lovely drive home. We're watching the Denver Broncos game on Monday night football - to see that Wyld is flying from 3 days of 70+ bright sunshine to 30's & rainy SNOW (eeew the "S" word).

At the gigs ADG seemed ( to me ) to be very happy to be "home". Cuttin up on stage like a kid. He looked & sounded great. (I'll leave the set list to JC). Something with the sound system let us hear Abe better which was wonderful.

It was awesome (not a word I use lightly) to be with everyone whether they were there or not - if you know what I mean. Very nice meeting some new (to me) people. Killer, Lorie etc.

One of the highlites for me was watching "Little" Lena and her equally adorable friend (Kristen?) sitting at one of the front tables enjoying the show together Sunday. Dressed to the nines these lovely young ladies (better behaved than most of the adults) left us wondering where the time goes and realizing that ADG has a whole new flock of blunderbites coming up.

Glad everyone had a nice time at the shows. Sounds like a great time! We like to take our time coming back from shows & enjoy stuff. Makes the trip back more fun. :) Our trip to KY is the upcoming weekend starting Thurs. I guess it sort of makes up for not getting to go to the church...

Mark and I had a wonderful weekend. Arlo did House of the Rising Son which was worth the price of admission for me. The tailgate was a picture postcard day - and we've sure had some that weren't, so that was great! But, the best part was seeing everyone! Those that couldn't make it were missed, but we know you were there in spirit.

Hi Everyone!
I am finally recuperated after a couple of days of deep oneness issues.
I had an awesome time this weekend getting together and an honorable pleasure meeting for the first time some of the happy blunderites in person on God's standing ground and great to see again Wyld(you looked maavelous), Kurt, Judy, George, and of course our hero Arlo, I'm sorry if I left anyone else out. I attended the Saturday night revival and what a night and such a treat to hear some of the songs hidden in vault that Arlo has not done in years and "Walking Down the Line" was one of them :D...The tailgate party on Sunday was fun and relaxable especially for a beautiful weekend in the Berks with the foliage turning a gorgeous fall hue of colors. I will have a setlist shortly.

Peace,
Lorie
