And a very good NOT morning to you all ... since I'm not exactly a morning person myself (you might just say) it's a wonderful place for me to put in one of my rare appearances. Thanks, Wyld!

Things are still going well for me. Knock on wood, of course, but it would seem that I finally found some serious sanctuary, which is something I've been needing for a long, long time ... It's a little weird being able to relax, and to be around people who are for real for a change, but I thought I remembered they were out there, and so they are. (Wow! What a rush ...!)

On my way down here I ran into a great quote attributed to Shirley Jackson, which was posted as bathroom grafitti in a bar I spent many of my formative years at on Capitol Hill, Wahsington D.C.

To wit: "If you want to know what God thinks of money, look at the people he gives it to."

Just thought I'd share ...

Hope Mike's and your Valentine's day was most memorable, Cheryl. In a good kind of a way, of course. Ditto to all the rest of you guys.

Hello everyone I hope that you are all doing well and life isn't as crap as usual. At times we would all do to remember that though we all start out with nothing, if we at this point still have most of it left we're not doing too badly at all

My daughter Corey is skiing in Vermont this weekend. She "texted" me this morning and said she'd been on the slopes for 2 hours (started at 9 AM) and was soaking wet from the rain.

I haven't heard from her since then.... getting a bit worried, but knowing she's having a blast.

Back here in central PA, mom's busy doing taxes and financial aid forms all day, Lance is writing a major research paper, Eric's home on Spring Break (which means he's at the mall) and I'm just taking a much-needed break.

Hi to everyone.
