...though the docs expected that Tom would be in CCU for a week or so.....he actually improved so quickly he is being discharged in the AM....feeling 100% better and a very happy man....

i don't know how i missed this thread, but i'm so happy that tom came through the surgery with flying colors. how very cool for you to have found all this family, too! congrats to you, kj...vibes that tom continues to do so well...and hopes that you all find a way to meet face to face sooner rather than later.
