I have received Rob's t-shirt and it's great. I think this will be the center of the quilt with other blocks around it. I found some neat guitar/Hawaiian border fabric (sounds weird, I know, but it works) and I am waiting to see what the rest of you come up with.

Larry, I found some great pink tutu fabric, now I'm looking for hockey sticks And maybe some regular sticks for Nathen. Still looking for chonklit cake, and boy! people looked at me funny when I asked for gooses and clams!

Pat: I'm so glad you came up with the idea. I often wondered about that shirt. I can't take it with me, and my kids would only sell it on e-bay! I'm glad that I could be a small part of something...

Good luck, & keep us posted how things are coming along.

My mailbox has been almost empty except for the usual junk and bills--I'd LOVE to see some pieces of fabric in there for the quilt. I will be starting to put it together soon. If you need the address, send me an email and I'll let you know.

Pat, sorry for the delay ... been working very long hours. Also, since I'm not a quilter, any particular type of fabric better than others? Thanks--Pam

Pam, most quilters prefer to work with 100% cotton, and I do too when I can, but whatever you have that seems right would be fine with me--we're starting with a t-shirt, for goodness' sake!! The sizes of patches I need are posted somewhere else on this thread.

Pat I'll talk with my Mother, and send you what I can. She's 78, and has tons of quilt stuff. I'm sure she'd be glad to help you out! She's an Arlo fan from way back. And Arlo if your listening (or reading---dah) could you play the song 'Anytime' for my Mom???

P.S. I hope to see you on May 18th Pat....E-mail me!

The quilt is beginning to take shape. I was wondering if anyone had an old Arlonet t-shirt or logo they would be willing to sacrifice for the quilt--after all, we wouldn't be blundering nearly so much without Arlonet, as evidenced by the 24-hr panic when the site was down!!
If you have a shirt, email me and I'll tell you where to send it. Thanks!!

How bout Red White & Blue for starters? My Mom suggested that. I have to warn ya, she's a little senile

* me myself I'm wondering. I have this Tony Orlando song ringing in my head. It just won't leave.

RB, red, white & blue is my favorite combo!! I think this quilt is gonna be beautiful!! I may be bombarded with Arlonet T-shirts, but we'll use what we can. If you need my snail mail address, just email me and I'll send it to you. I will post pictures as soon as I have something to photograph!!

I have a really, really weird work schedule this week, but I'm hoping it will leave me time for some Blunder-quilting! Wyld, I found the perfect use for your great fabric. I have cut the T-shirt so I know what size I'm starting from, and we're on our way!!! I also found some great hand-dyed-looking fabric for a "Good Morning Blunderland" block. Cool
