It's cold and rainy out today so come on out to a warm and well-lighted evening of great coffee and teas, fresh baked snacks, great conversation, and great music. Signup is at 7:00pm and the music commences approximately at 8:00pm. kurt...

Part of the horn section in the 'all night every night band of musicians'
loves rodents
literate in formal and slang 'horned owl' dialects which includes numerous serenades in the 'hoot' tounge
I see a possibility for a song here?
Anyone ever tried hooting in harmony?
might have a nice mellow caliope sound.

Wish we could be there. Since we can't be there, we'llbe at the bluegrass jam at Rivermont Presbyterian church in Enon (Chesterfield county), VA. Fri nite 7 pm. Should be fun... :)

Glad to see there will those gathering tonight.
Kurt, from my 'American Folk Symphony" collection I played a tune I call 'Calliope', this summer, up there. It is one of those three chord tunes CFG. It is a piece written for banjo, penny whistle, autoharp, bass, etc. Would love to get up there and play around with this tune with somone who plays the the banjo. Still shopping for that mobile stage piano. Looking forward to joining you all again soon
Ken

Hi Brigitte,

The hoots are going on. Some weeks the snow storms prevents me from getting there. Some weeks the new job keep me from posting. Last week I guess a lot of people had vacations because the place was packed. kurt...
