Well, my sister thinks it's really funny that this thread has turned into one on ironing. She is getting to know the Blunderite psyche. And all these years, she just thought it was me!

My husband often threatens that when the last kid moves out, we're buying a SMALL condo somewhere (and not giving them the address) I won't quite go THAT far--the Grandma gig is a GOOD thing, just not in the same house.

I'd hang around and think up some more ironing jokes, but I have a pressing engagement.

omigodde ... had to really press on to find the very excellent news about Nancy! Very cool! Glad she's in such good spirits.

Blundervibes (very wrinkly ones at that) continue.

Threads....ironing....they really do kind of go together. And now I'm wondering, do people with the ironing gene iron their jeans? And yes, Larry, I had a lot of help getting to be the Blunderite I am today....

Hi, Judy! No, I have never ironed a pair of jeans, but I knew somebody who did...once. I also heard one of those "stupid things people do" stories on the radio about someone who tried to iron some of their clothing--WHILE WEARING IT!!! Needless to say, it did not go well.

I dunno Judy, but your question about people with the ironing gene begs the question: "How much starch should someone with the ironing gene have in their diet?"

I'm on a low starch diet right now, Larry.
