The weather has a crisp feeling and we had gorgeous sunny days this past weekend. My daughter Laura and I spent it in our craft fair booth at Bluemont Fair in Bluemont, VA. This beautiful location is an old village tucked away in the hills in between Leesburg and Winchester, off Route 7. This fair is entertainment-heavy, and a friend does the booking. Many talented Folk Club friends and others played on the four stages placed around the village. We were located a stone's throw from one of the stages, so we had music to listen to all weekend. Nice people, great music, no rain, and glorious sunny weather and cool temperatures sure made for a great weekend! I'm exhausted, but I'll probably be back to whatever stands for normal for me by tomorrow. Fall is on its way!

Sounds like a great time! I am looking forward to going to Nags Head, NC for 2 weeks with my folks in late Oct/early Nov. I am dreading the cold weather as I freeze easily. :)

I know just how you feel,I get like that every fall !I was born and raised in NJ and the family spent the summers .."down the shore" as we say and NO it's nothing like they show on TV nowadays!Yet I would go to camp in the ..Berkshires of Mass at the old Cranwell school every summer for almost 12 years. It's where I learned to love the mountains and respect the land,I loved it,I now live in Maryland and try to get back to Stockbridge,Lenox and Lee at least once a year.
