Stephanie--I posted something here last night, but it seems to have gotten lost in the ether. I am so sorry for your loss. I know how it is to lose a friend. Keep listening to his music. His music will help to keep him alive in your heart, and will help you to heal. Maybe he's Up There right now, writing some songs with some of those other musicians who got there before him, and he'll send those songs down the river to you soon. Be ready for them! You, your husband, and the guitar player should keep paper and pen handy!

I agree with ya that it's not fair that they are wanted in heaven way too soon. My baby went on to heaven much too soon & it's a pain I hope no one else ever has to endure...

He gave me a little gift before he left. I mentioned that he & I had exchanged emails, well he emailed all of us about missing that Friday practice, but everyone was away. It was so lucky that I had internet at my Mother's and was able to reply.

The first thing he said in the reply to my reply was "Thanks again for your kindness, Steph"
Truthfully? It sounded a bit odd at the time. Now? It means the world to me.
