(12/13/08; 6:57 pm) We just got our power back on a short while ago. Lost it Thursday night (12/11/08) during the ice storm. Four trees (or parts of 'em) hit the house. Very little damage but a big friggin' mess. Chain saw's gettin' a workout! The good side is we might not have to buy firewood next year! Sounded like a war zone Thursday night into Friday morning. "Snap! Crack! Crash!" (not like Rice Krispies!). Reckon we're better off than a lot of other folks further north. Hope Arlo's place weathered the storm.

Vibes & prayers to you, Arlo & everyone else in the store areas. Reminds me of the great ice storm of 1966. One of the worst ones they had around here except for the bad one that was in either 1998, 99 or 2000 around Christmas time...

Thank you. We're fine. Just tired from all the cuttin' and haulin' all of the brush & wood. Lots of brush for campfires next summer!
