Michael Crichton, author of the "Jurassic Park" books, "Andromeda Strain", "Prey" and a slew of other thrillers, creator of the ER TV series and others, has passed away at the age of 66 from cancer. I always loved reading his books...intelligently written, excellent eye for detail, and always an enjoyable experience.

Oh, I'm sorry... I just posted something similar under End of the Trail. To me, he was the most fascinating, amazing writer I'd ever read. The first book I read by him was Sphere and I was hooked! That was way back over 20 years ago! Another great one is called A Case of Need, which he wrote under the pen name Jeffery Hudson.
