Beauty is skin deep, but ugly goes all the way to the bone. For those of us that are comfortable in their own skin, it really doesn't matter what others think or do.
If you set for yourself a set of values, and for the most part live up to them, then self esteem is just that.....SELF esteem.The ironic thing is,some of those with low self esteem attack the esteem of others in the vain and fruitless attempt to increase their own. You used the word here already.....bullies.
In a group of people with decent self esteem and values, you will not be tested as a rule.If however you find yourself in a group with lesser qualities, you will be tested. We might call them self esteem robbing terrorists. We know they are wrong, and you know they are wrong, so stay above it. I know this may seem easier said than done, but I think it is the true answer.Like water off a ducks back, it flows away without causing harm. Now, let me hear you QUACK loudly kid!!!!!!!

Lar-nie. I think I'm the front half. Thanks for the kind words cheryl. I'm thinking about taking the place of Dr. Phil, since they may drum him out of town soon. I've signed up for the "Arrogant Asshole 101" course at our local community college. I don't know why, but after the interview, they gave me some life credits towards the course already.
