Hi all -

I have a friend who is doing the MS 150 this year. The amazing part of this is that it will be his 23rd consecutive year doing the ride. He is 44 years old and has been doing this ride since he was 21. Since he started doing the ride he has lived in 3 states, gotten married and had 2 children. (OK - so his wife actually HAD the children - but you know what I mean!)

He dedicates the ride and the donations he collects to my mom and his aunt. His aunt was diagnosed years after he started doing the ride. My mom has been dealing with MS since before he did his first ride.

In honor of my dad, who had MS from 1957 to 2001, and of course in honor of Joyce, your mom, I'm in! MS shaped my life as Huntington's has affected many Guthrie lives, and I want to see it defeated in my lifetime.

Count me in, too! I've had three friends in my life whose mothers had MS. Your Mom is one of them, and a friend as well.
