It's Corey again...I agree with the last 2 comments. We're not in high school anymore...apparently some full grown adults still enjoy high school drama. Probably makes them feel better about themselves and all they're lacking.

This is Terrie, home at last! Thanks, everyone, for your kind words and well wishes.

I had no idea that Corey followed up with the above post. When she first read the negative email, I was in Taos, on the Arlo tour. Corey told me to not just ignore the email, but to respond in kind. I haven't done so yet. I will tho. She told me that the email reminded her of junior high... and Lance said it was very "clique-ish" of this person to have written certain things.

I'm feeling a lot better but very sore. See, I had fallen at the zoo... rough paved area that led to a dirt trail. I slipped off the paved part and did a dive on my left side. My rotator cuff is damaged (not torn) and my hip and knee have B&B marks larger than anything I've ever seen. My wrist is all torn up and my hand is B&B also. A few more B&B marks on my right leg. I injured several ribs. I'll have to be in physical therapy for a few weeks.

About an hour later, while sitting in a chair in the shade waiting for security to take the report, I had the heart attack. The paramedics had already helped me up from my fall, seated me, examined me, peroxided my wounds, etc. I'm glad that it took security so long to get to me because I would have had the heart attack in the car! So it all worked out.

And that person who sent such a vicious email will certainly be hearing from me!

Again, thanks to all who posted. And I promise to take better care of my heart from here on out!

Terrie,

Hang in there and get well. Consider if it's worth upping your cortisol to take "revenge" on the email idiots. You can let it go and be confident in your dignity. You don't have to prove anything to anyone. I just visited your site and your book. It blew me away. You are such a talented person, a real Renaissance woman. Your anthropology pages are facinating.
I am very familiar with the kind of cold treatment by the medical establishment you describe in your book. When my wife had her MI they sent her home and told her she was nuts, then the uknowwhat hit the fan. Lucky for me "someone" wanted her around. You have alot of folks caring about you here. I hope adg sings your favorite song this weekend in his spritual home port.

I should know better, being married to a hippie woman for thirty four years, on how to give advice.

So have you decided which model AK47 best fits your needs? I assume the GPS coordinates of the perp have been locked in. (what ever happened to that great missile-firing smilie?) kurt...

Terrie, glad you're home and wish you speedy healing. Sorry that you hurt. Don't know if it'll help but I've heard "Rescue Cream" ointment works well on bruises. It's mostly found in health food stores & herbal shoppes. It's made with floral essences ....Flower Power! Good for us vintage hippies! Be well & get better soon.

Peace atchya!
