We had a nice dya & 1/2 at Ntuaral Bridge, VA. We loved seeing the Drama of the Creation there. We had a nice time today. We went to church today & then onward to Hawks Nest, WV. We went to a Baptist church & it was nice. It dated back to the 1800's. The preacher & some of the church memebers had gone to Slovakia to get Slovaks saved. I wish my dad could've seen that since he's Slovak. We had lunch at Douthat State park. We went to the Magic Mart store in Rainelle, WV. It was like a K-Mart. Good thing we were going there cuz Mike forgot his toiletries & shoes & I got the blame for it lol. I offered to pack his stuff int he car & he said no he'd do it himself. I said I didn't mind & would do it for him I asked him were they on the bed. He said yes. Apparrantly his bag of shoes & his toiletires bag weren't on the bed & he didn't think to double check after me. That'll teach him not to go off without double checking behind me. At least we didn't forget our medicines.

This is a nicer room than we normally have. It is a bigger bedroom that what we normally have when we come here & room for 4 folks. & A nice living room. They have the bedroom & we have the living room. And then I don't get into my moms hair. LOL. Right now wae are watching re-runs of Hee-Haw. I hadn't seen that in along time. Onward to Mikes sisters in Ohio Fri...

Brrrrrr!!!! Up is down and down is up! Right now the temp in Dallas is the same as in Great Barrington, and colder than in NYC! Everything's coated in ice, with more on the way. Sparky, send us some warm weather, please!

On the news I just saw snow on the beach in Ore! Lots of snow. I remember as a kid getting good snow some years, but that's kinda unusual these days.
I'm sending you some warmth from sunny Queensland Shel.
Can somebody PLEASE send us some rain!!!! (or better still a Catagory One cyclone, (hurricane) not enough to do too much damage but enough to fill up our shrinking water supply dams. Even just a great big Low System would do the trick!

Hehe well Ceashel,I,m not sure about warm,it,s above the seasonal norm here now,but is below freezing, slightly. The ground is bare though and the Winterlude organisers are scrambling to make changes to events.
The last few years its been getting worse for them.Yesterday I went by a park where they usually have a ice slide and they had several snow making jets blasting away in a futile effort to make the hill for the slide and make the park look wintery for the Winterlude events. The park is located on the shores of the Ottawa River, which is wide open where it is normally frozen over by now.WEIRD!!

From what I've been told, Colorado Springs has gotten more snow already than it has in the last ten or more years! Weird weather for sure

Temps tonight are hovering between -5 and 0. It should warm up to freezing temp by Tuesday.

I did put that fan on Louise, but it seems to have sucked more wet stuff over here, instead of sending it down your way. We've had freezing rain for the last two days My poor car is a solid brick of ice!
