I'm not doing much in the way of decorations, though I will hang my peace-wreath....
Here's an idea for anyone with a bit more ambition http://media.putfile.com/wizardsofwinter-sm

Hey Wyld! We are just doing the holiday decos. Our street is big on the Xmas lights thing and, as my husband is a muso we give a free concert in our front yard. It's a hoot. Last year we had a busload of Japanese tourists pull over and join in! There was dancing in the street- the whole nine yards! I've made a big peace sign out of wire and coloured lights which is the central piece of our outdoor decos. Enjoy the season.

I'd love to have a peace sign in my yard but haven't an idea how to do it & my folks would freak out if I did anyway lol. I decorate pretty good & it's tiring for us over 40's lol. Outside we have lights around the front door & up that metal latticey thingy on the front porch that holds up between the roof of the front porch & the porch, some lights strung across the yard, some lights around the windows & a manger scene in the front yard. Inside is the tree decorated with colored mini lights (cuz the light built into it are the clear white ones & we like the colored so we have to mix the colored ones with the white to make it look Christmasy enough), colored small tear drop lights with small tear drop shaped bulbs on them, and on the branches are bubble lights at the bottom & middle, then from the middle on up are candle lights. I'm trying to do it this yr where it has all that but doesn't looks as it I overleaded the thing with lights lol...

Forgot to mention I put up some fiber optic trees & a fiber optic poinsettia in the house along with lighted bells hanging in the dining room over the scenic picture. lightwsh strung across a coupla archways in the living room, a ceramic lighted Christmas tree. And I put a plastic lighted alpine scene from the 60's & plastic manger scene under the tree. Mike is goodf at decorating & always puts the ceramic alpine scene up in the living room. He has quite the decorator touch. He even puts a sprig of holly on the Bible... <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/smile.gif" width=15 height=15>

Goodness Wyld! I've just got a chance to revisit here and watch the Christmas lights complete with music that you've linked to on your original post. Someone has waaaaay too much time on their hands! That display is amazing! Cool to see someone else with the peace sign up there! We now also have Jack Skellington from Tim Burton"s "Nightmare Before Christmas" which is one of my grand-daughter's favourite Xmas movies, popping up out of our chimney. We made him out of plywood and wire. He looks cool! I love Christmas!

And it's kosher too, oy, oy, oy.

Too funny, Arnie. Thanks for sharing.

Wyld, I've shown that house video to everyone who spends even just a few minutes here.... it's incredibly good! Glad you shared it with us.
