Starting this thread to keep other threads on-topic, not that this means we HAVE to stay on topic if we don't want to...

I spent this weekend at the StrangeCreek festival... it was a joint effort by the bands StrangeFolk and Max Creek, with a supporting cast of thousands... LOL

I'll post a bit more later, but I do want to say that, unfortunately, I messed up and didn't get over to the late nite cabin jams to hear Pat's son's band, U-Melt... though I hear from others that it was an awesome set.

Hey Cap'n Zap... This was in addition to the Camp Creek festival.... that will be happening the last weekend in July, At Indian Lookout Country Club in Mariaville, NY. http://www.campcreek2005.com/ (U-Melt is on the schedule for that one, too.)

Gotta go finish unpacking the car... but I'll write more later!

Rob got home from Strangecreek a couple of hours ago. This time they went to attend, not just to play. They went up Saturday and weren't playing until Sunday night. He said it might have been his favorite weekend in a long time. Maybe ever. Great vibe, lots of great music and the weather even cooperated.
