So sorry to hear about your girls, Louise! I know that nature is just nature, but STILL. We occasionally have problems with raccoons (the varmints). Wish we were closer--I'd send you a few new friends. Actually, I wish a lot of you were closer ... they've been laying like mad and we can't keep up with all the eggs!

Thanks for your kind thoughts. Hey Joe, not 2 hours ago John and I were talking about how by the time we are about 80 we might be at the end of the alphabet and what xyz would be. We thought of Xena but you've helped us with the other 2. So maybe in about 30 years there might be a couple of old geezers (wheezers?) and 3 chooks up on the stage at Woodyfest?
