It's been ages ago that we asked here for Blundervibes for our grand-niece Ashley, who was going in the navy. Since, we've asked some of you privately for them. She's been promised A-school, but it kept falling through, and in the spring, she was assigned to an aircraft carrier that was going to go from San Diego, up, across, and down the Pacific, then go to the Middle East. While that's much better than being on the ground in Iraq, we weren't exactly thrilled about the Middle East part. They went around the northern Pacific, then went to Hawaii, she got 10 days' leave there, and before the carrier left, she got her orders for A-school, so she's back in San Diego and headed for Great Lakes! Yippeee hippee!!!!!! Thanks to all who sent a B-Vibe Ashley's way. Now let's get Aaron out o' there! Blundervibes rock!

I never thought I'd be happy for anyone going into the miltary, but it was better than staying in the environment she was in before. And now we're just so grateful she won't be going to the Middle East.
