How about if we all take a look at the GC Wish List and bring something along if we have room in our bags/car/trunk/cooler? Even if you're flying in, you could bring a book of postage stamps or something like that. Let's see what happens. And I'm working on the quilt today as well. It's taking shape. I will get pictures along the way and post them if I can.

Amazingly, I was just looking at the Wish List before checking this board. What a great idea! Provided I get tickets. Panicking...

Yes, Saturday was sold out. I got tix for Friday which is going to be a major hassle getting up there on time. But, with the trouble getting a room for that weekend, I guess I should count my blessings.

If anyone suddenly discovers they can't make the Sat show, please trade with me. I have 3 tix for Friday.

Terrie

I'm already up for the Guthrie Wish list thing.
Quite a while ago I posted off some Childrens instruments, only they have gone missing, so I'm bringing them with me.

We are planning to take some Wish List things, too. But I'm going to double-check to be sure it's still needed before I take anything (unless it's one of those always-needed things like office supplies); I understand the wish list can't be updated as often as would be desirable. (Didn't I say that nicely? )

Some of the items on the wish list currently have already been purchased and are in use at the GC...a new tea kettle, a set of flatware, trivets, and a season's worth of tea lights. It's a good idea to check with Sherry to make sure what you're thinking of donating hasn't already been taken care of.

I was thinking of office supplies, too, since they're always needed. If there's a "big" thing needed, I would be happy to share costs with someone. Perhaps Sherry can post a revised list of what she needs closer to the Fall Revival.

I just spoke with Sherry and asked her abouy updating the list. She told me that every time they try to update it, everything on the site disappears. I suggested that she post on this board instead of the web page.

That would be wonderful. And if anyone is thinking of anything big and wants to share the cost, email me. We are driving up so maybe we could bring something a bit larger.
