So a lady I work with had a brother-in-law who was a d.j. and during his time in this field, he acquired many cds and the like. Today, I came into work and Shirley,the lady I work with, is holding a George Harrison Dark Horse Platinum album with a plaque under it with the d.j.'s name in honor of so many sales or something like that. It has a RIIA or RIAA (can't remember at the moment) hologram (sp?)thing on it. Knowing I'm a bit of a Beatles fanatic she's offered to sell it to me, but doesn't know how much it's worth. After calling every radio station around, I still don't have an offer to give her except for what they say - "don't get rid of it". So what is a fair price to put on something like that? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

The easiest place to find out 'value' these days is E-bay. You should be able to get an idea of what stuff like that (and anything else, for that matter) goes for out there.
