A friend of mine, from Arizona, Brad Dimock (sp),e-mailed me with an update on a movie he had made in 2001, he had wrote a book called Sunk without Sound, it is the story of a honeymoon couple which decided to go down the Grand Canyon on a raft. They knew another fiend of mine Emory c. Kolb, (I worked for Mr kolb for a couple of years as a photographer, and moving picture magic latern projectionest, it was all very old style equipment)anyway, Emory C. was the last known person to see the honeymoon couple alive, and it is rumored that Emory may have killed the new husband and made off with the wive. It was this rumor that lead me to meet Brad, so anyway, Brad wrote this book about the journey, Discovery Channel read it and decided it was interesting story and they had Brad recreate the journey as it must have been so many years ago.

Okay the purpose of this topic is to tell everyone that the movie will be showing on the Discovery Channel this week. Dec.5,6,7 so if you like check your local listings for times, I think here it is 7Pm on the 5th, midnight on the 6th and 3Pm on the 7th.
Several books have been written and the mystery remains, but it is a good story.

I would like to say that I knew Mr Kolb well and I knew of the skeletons he had, and they were not those of the husband, Mr Kolb was a fine man and a gentleman in every way, a family man who cared greatly for his wife and child.
I think I have posted on this topic before, but it bears repeating, I don't think Mr Kolb seen either the husband or the wife after they departed Bright Angel.
