Yes, nice to get a jump on the gun to, as sometimes things are just too easy to forget.

*I'd like to salute my old friend Lee (recently lost his battle to cancer) as he was a WW2 Vet.
**and my father-in-law 'Alexander (AKA Snuffy) Paul Terrance. Served in Korea and WW2.
***cousin Lawrence....served in Viet Namn. Came home with a purple heart...(only person on my side of family (to my knowledge) that 'ever' was in the Military.

Todd, try Dylan's interview, in current rolling stone, he's quite a piece a work, too
He refused to compare his latest albums to past ones, said tha'd be like walking around in ruins of Pompei, all day long...

Yeah, Kesey died I think of liver problemsa. He was also diabetic too & had that real bad. I think it was reported on YAHOO & AOL. Sorry to hear that...

Todd my friend I know you started this topic each year at this time and I thought you might like this topic to be returned to the top, so once more we can say thank you to those who gave so much for our freedoms, and dear brother, I would like to salute you once more, thanks man for all that you were and for all that you have become.

thankyou nate, i would have woke up tommorrow and not know the day or care to. now he will be on my mind in front. he was always reflective on this day. sad . tearfull. a day filled with the loss of millions. of all the fathers,mothers,sons,and daughters who have lost fathers,mothers,sons and daughters,and forever and ever going on and on.

On this Remembrance day I/we will remember....

We shall remember those killed in the war against terrorism as well as the victims of the terrorist acts and as well all those whose lives were lost "in service"fighting in past wars for the freedoms we have today.

We will remember the innocent victims of the terrorist acts of September 11,2001,as well as those killed in the rescue attempt.

I shall remember my mother who passed Remembrance Day 1994

I also lost a young friend Matt,in May after a 10 month battle with cancer.at 28 years of age,far too young with much to give...."He possessed a brilliant mind, a free spirit, a kind heart and a strong social conscience. A talented writer, poet and folk singer, he loved life and displayed remarkable strength of character and maturity in the face of this aggressive cancer"..

We will all remember our friend and brother"in service" Todd who recently passed after a long illness.It,s still hard to put into words,Todd was a amazing man,the strength and courage he showed while fighting his battles were incredible...


We will remember and pray they rest in peace and that we may have peace.........

I too shall remember my aunt who dies in May, a vet, no less. My friend across the street, sort of family, a 2nd mom, Todd and so many others that have crossed over the river and await us on the distant shore.
