Thanks to you all! I had a great birthday week. I still love birthdays (had lots of them, but still like them). Husband got smart and gave me jewelry (a topaz ring and tennis bracelet). Went gambling and lost all my money, but has fun anyway (made me wish I were a member of the Chippewa tribe).

As much fun as I had this year, I KNOW next year will be the best ever. My 50th birthday present to myself (a couple of weeks early) is meeting as many of you wonderful people live and in person at the Church as can make it (and meeting up again with Ceashel and Cliffite whom I haven't seen since moving back to Michigan 6+ years ago). Oh yes, and seeing Arlo!!

By the way, thanks for the Arlo Alert, Ceas. I'm keeping an eye out for when the tickets go on sale. My sister lives about 10 miles from Ann Arbor, so I'd like to make it a family affair. (I know my mom wants to go.)

Yes, Arnie, we November babies are da best--at least the most intense. And Larry, I LIKE Roseanne Roseannadanna, but I chose Pamramadama because it's easy to type (really), I don't have to remember which number pam I am (like Pam532 or PamL1430), and because it sounds like a '50s song--you know, ramadama ding-dong. And mainly just because I'm ever so slightly weird.

Pam, John did good: jewelry is a natural birthday painkiller. It can be habit-forming, but who cares? I'm really glad it's been a good birthday.
