Deb,
We hope you had the happiest of birthdays, packing notwithstanding! It was great to meet you and discover a good friend all at once. Have a great vacation!

Our love,

Shelley and Jay

thanks, shelley and jay! i feel the same way! the vacation is going nicely, starting with the weekend at our daughters in MA. it's been raining all weekend, but we've been having fun. she only lives about 40 mins from the church so i'm sure it's raining there, too. got me to thinking about how it always rains on the church gigs and how last weekend we were saying how nice it was to not have rain for a change...then got to thinking that this weekend is the normal church gig weekend, and it's raining once again. i'm glad we went early this year! i think that was because it was the only weekend ken could be off, so...thanks, ken!

Oh Deb I can't believe how badly I blew this...I hope you had a great birthday and a nice vacation. My brain wasnt in my head the week between the 4th and the 11th, so please forgive. Happy Year!

PS And yes, it poured Fri, Sat, & Sunday for the church gigs. Sunday there was such wind you could see leaves hit the windows behind the stage as everyone was singing. It was wild. Monday was nice for the drive home tho.
