Monday, we got 12 solid hours of heavy snow--a big deal for this subtropical climate! Wouldn't you know, the temp stayed above freezing until after the snow stopped, so it piled up on lawns and was pretty, but the streets didn't freeze, and it all melted yesterday. Usually a heavy snow means we don't have to go to work or school. Curses!

My DSL modem died on Monday, so I have/will be kind of scarce around here until the replacement arrives; I can only check in when I'm at work. You may take that as a good or bad thing, just don't tell me if the latter, please. The upside is the new modem's free, the downside is I can't just go get one today. Bummer.

Wow, sorry to hear about your modem.I'd be freaking out if mine died LOL! At Least I have the laptop as a backup. Here in the country they don't have dsl. I take comfort in knowing if they did have it it would've been too expensive to get anyway...
