Written in
front of the big stage at the Clearwater Festival (The Hudson River
Revival) June 20, 1998 at Marist College.
Soap and water
Pretty colors
Children blowing bubbles
Cleaning polluted air
With happy floating
Balloons reflecting
Psychedelic rainbows
Landing in peoples' hair
Enjoyment reigns supreme
Seen in bright eyed kids' gleam
BRAIN
PRESS
When
pressed brain closes
When
oppressed brain hurts
When
depressed brain hides
When
impressed brain smiles
When
repressed brain forgets
E-WAVES
Just stumbled into
work.
just stumbled onto the web.
just stumbled over your message(again).
Just stumbled over the thought to reply.
While on my many splendored
trips,
decided to reply by e-mail.
No postcards where I've been;
just a few horror stories.
Maybe, the picture isn't clear.
(see attachment{I know!!!!!?????})
I've driven the van
of death;
to transport some adventurous teens.
Not to mention while dealing with some drama
Of an aging, youth concerned God fairy.
Dealing with the drama
queen fairy
As CATASTROPHIC SITUATIONS befell her .
It's hard to break away from someone
As easily crushed and disillusioned
in the wonderful world of our Lord.
Intermingling, trying
to design a post card,
helping at the patisserie, painting for free;
for bad food, driving too tired,
No sleep, hanging out too late with a woman(???)
I still want for nothing.
I still don't expect anything.
I still wait for nothing.
I still don't understand anything.
I still will believe nothing.
