For the last few days we’ve been trying to figure out all the stuff it takes to leave The CrabHouse and get ourselves to the west coast, Hawaii and Australia. Then creep through the Northwest before finally returning home in New England sometime in May. It’s more thinking than I’d normally want to be doing. But, here we go and come, ready spaghetti or not. At least there’s a few more days before it all starts up.

Be all in, in these few more days before you are off and running again, as much as possible

You already know that, I know

As you creep down the West coast to California, we would love you to drop by Alice’s Restaurant in Woodside where you are an icon. Rumor has it that you once stopped in many years ago on a weekday afternoon when the restaurant was nearly empty and the young lady who waited on you did not recognize you and you had to introduce yourself. She looked at you like a deer in headlights. When she later told the staff and owners that some guy named Arlo Guthrie came in today, they nearly fell over! I don’t know how much longer she held on to that job, but all us regulars at this small restaurant nestled in the woods near Neil Young’s ranch have always wanted a “do over.” As your loving and most loyal fans who pay tribute to you with every visit to Alice’s, we would be so honored if you would grace us with your presence. Hey, we won’t even make you play Alice’s Restaurant! Trish

Don’t know if we’ll get chance this trip but it’s on the radar ASAP.
