i have found myself looking back through some of these threads

psb, you are a treasure. of course i knew that all along, no secret about that, despite the fact that you would give me a headache now and again. (don’t worry, not about to put you on a pedestal. who would want that after all? seriously.)

bear with me folks, i am working through my grief. i mean that sincerely.

p.s. and please, and you know who you are. the “random” 30 minute or so suicide metal tunes that were so weirdly timed when you posted them. seriously? that was/is just tacky.

first off, i couldn’t in good conscience give it to anyone without their knowing it.

however, also, in a different scenario

maybe in just the right doses and in a healing environment, i think it could help fulfill the potential broadcasted in the mind of the discoverer, i think his vision was focused and true. it’s not like, “oh, let’s all do this.” no. but i somehow think it could be a helpful tool in healing and discovery. and a healing human touch is every bit as valuable.

Alright I know you are talking about me because I posted a 34 minute song by a metal band by the name of X Japan. And it has nothing to do with suicide, nor is there any such thing as suicide metal. :roll:

And the other song by them, Endless Rain is not about suicide, either. Please!

You know nothing of this band. I have followed them, not very often but somewhat, since Roger Taylor, drummer for Queen, collaborated with X Japan's drummer / pianist, Yoshiki on a song that perhaps you should hear.

The first song by X Japan that I posted is Art Of Life which contains some of the most fantastic guitar playing I've ever heard. That between the artists hide (Hideto) and Pata from that band and I marvel at what they were able to do and pull off in a performance of over 30 minutes that filled the Tokyo Dome, more than once, just to hear that one song.

As far as being tacky??? Why? I don't have any idea what you are talking about. You post songs. I wanted to post songs. I won't post any songs, anymore, other than this one which you need to listen to the lyrics.

picking up where i left off….if you know what i mean

more good vibes to psb’s family and friends including myself. psb told such good stories. i think stories can help us take evolutionary steps forward. maybe that is what eons of story telling is about? not about attaching dogma, but to become more aware, and progress.
