seriously, this ain’t no fresh hell.

and you forgot about the cell towers, among other things

so done

okay, the links i have already posted go into various things including better placement of turbines (avoiding likely migratory routes and such) and changes in design to reduce such incidents.

they also go into various other sources of avian casualties as well.

according to what i have read, i understand that cell towers (communication towers) are a source of many bird casualties. millions per year, i understand. here too they are trying to make the towers more bird friendly.

it says the wind "tree" thing can provide 3.1 KW, but over what period of time?

i’d also like to see the break down of how it would pay for itself ($36,500) in a few years.

it is a little lean on details.

looking for something more comprehensive

I am not burying the evidence! I am showing you how those organizations that say it doesn't kill them lie to keep us from knowing the truth - the truth which you obviously haven't read or watched because it would have taken you 30 minutes to get through my last posts if not more. That is not burying anything. That's the shocking truth and people have their heads in the sand or just don't research this out to the fullest.

And this time, it's me who is done. No sense trying, here. I work with the Eagle On Alliance as well as many of the raptor persecution sites, Bird Life, International and many other places who do know what is really happening. I'll just stick with trying to help all I can to stop this nonsense.

Love wild life, including the birds and get it about the wind farms. We got some a couple of miles from us and they look okay.
Wind farms seem to be better for our future environment regarding pollution in comparison to fossil fuels. Of course they can and should be improved as well as taking into account the birds. Expect this will happen. But didn't your President recently pull the USA out of the Paris Climate Accord and didn't lots of folks in the USA applaud their tweetiest, stupidest, bully nutcase President? Climate change is happening now and banging on the doors of the mighty USA in so many ways. Heck, even your hurricanes are getting bigger, if not better!
Just think the wee picture is much bigger than the wind turbines, the birds and wee us. Perhaps some day humanity will cry for help and discover that there isn't anybody out there. Living in the countryside we so much wish peace and goodwill to our fellow living critters including all the birds that visit and reside in our garden. ( save nature and may the Dragonflies of this world continue to spread their wings and fly above the human fiasco) But here's some wee expressions of the bigger picture that some fellow humans put out there....

probably? and i would have to wonder where/who this applause came from?

well, i think my favourite,,,,statement from the clips you posted, the best takeaway from this series i guess you would say, would be from the robert redford one:

“if they [humans] don’t figure out that they are part of nature, rather than just, using nature, they probably won’t be around to see you [a wee tree] grow up.”

but now as far as this statement from the series: water being “something they [humans] just take for granted”, i am easily on record expressing exactly the opposite.

and i knew then if i’ve said it and thought it, others have said it in their own way too, no doubt about it

I love the whole:

"I am just a naive bumpkin grass roots American who has no idea how I got in this place"

After all, they are professional money handlers!

A cry for help? You have seriously got to be kidding. I won't be discussing this with you or posting in this forum section anymore. I don't know what I have done to deserve you making fun and insulting me every chance you can but I've had enough!
