I've got a couple / few gigs under my belt now since I got back on the road. There were so many notes and letters from everyone that it has been fairly overwhelming. What stood out was how many of our friends or people we work with have gone thru or are now going thru the same thing - the loss of someone dear. It is staggeringly real when hundreds and thousands of folks write in and share their lives in such an honest way - no one selling anything - Just real people going thru life trying to keep it real. So this little note is simply to let you know how grateful we are to everyone for taking the time to check-in.

I'll get back in some way or other, but there's no way to answer everyone individually. It would take another life time. And now I'm just trying to get used to the life I have left. Time to make the doughnuts. I just need time to eat 'em.

Much Love As Usual.... adg

Just take care of yourself man... No need to respond individually. Thanks for keeping us all in the loop... We share your life.

Having this little corner of the web to visit and stay in touch is enough. If you got an extra jelly, or maybe a french cruller in your doughnut box...we'll share'em.
Happy Trails....

Hope you can find a way to turn 'overwhelming support' into pure healing energy...It's your Karma, Arlo...the love and peace you have been putting out there for all of us for so long is coming home to roost when you need it most. Be well xo

It's good to hear a bit of how things are going for you.....the one step after another stuff after the shock starts to wear off has to be the toughest time.....course you know you couldn't shake us if you tried..... for better or worse...

...partly because you and Jacky in her own way found the methods to touch us all in the most profound part of our hearts...and all those cards and posts are but a tiny reflection of what you each and together spread to the world....

...countless times on my hard roads some Guthrie inspiration jumped in front of me... a dream, a song in the elevator, crazy ways, to inspire to keep on..... you've heard the stories now you see what happens......

such a great love reflects such an enormous loss....there are a million arms and hearts there for you..... on this hard journey....

Love, kj

My deepest sympathy. It's so hard to lose some one so close but it's such a good time to remember all the good you brought to each other. When my father passed away a few years ago we started writing down some of his sayings and jokes. Every once and a while a new one would pop up. About 2 weeks ago my brother posted one we all forgot. Every time the ice cream truck would drive by my dad would say " He's playing music, that means he's out of ice cream". There will be treasures for you to find forever. Be well my friend.

I want to say something profound, something involving donut holes. But then I found this donut recipe:

Thanks for helping me laugh year after year, even when life just seems sad.
