Thank you all very much for the birthday wishes. Thinking about me, even though I am not here as often as I wish to. I left Friday morning for the Tonder festival and just came back a few hours ago, therefore I could not thank you earlier. I had a fantastic birthday weekend, actually the best ever.
Love and Peace
Brigitte

Hi Agnes,
yes, Tonder is not so far away, about 430 miles. For Americans a short trip, for us Europeans a long trip. Cecile and I went together. We also saw Arlo together in Siegen, Germany in 2010. And we plan on more Arlo, as soon as he comes to Europe again. Hopefully he will come to Tonder again, that festival is really great.

hey, hey, hey!!! that sounds like a pretty long trip to me :)
i say "local" because it looked relatively "nearby", yet still kind of far away
i better stop there, before i confuse myself further

Thank you, Actually one of the best birthdays I ever had. Only half a day of work, then packing for the trip to the Tonder Festival which started the next day. And a weekend full of good music with Arlo and familiy as the highlight at the end. Can't beat that. :D

No confusion. I live in a small town 10 minutes out of Frankfurt, Germany. From there one straight line north until one hits the border of Denmark, there is Tonder.
For Cecile the trip was much longer, since she comes from France, Reims area. She had to take the train to Paris, then flew to Hamburg, where we met and continued the journey together by car. Beside the flying part, it was fun.
