So sorry to hear about her. I had hoped she was doing better. RIP, she will be missed...

So sad! the first time I saw Peter Paul and Mary on the TV, they were singing "If I Had a Hammer", I'll never forget.

Saw her in a solo performance on Long Island years back. I'll never forget the way she totally (and peacefully) talked down a heckler in the audience. She will be missed.

Who the heck would want to heckle Mary Travers? I guess I'll just never understand people.

Only 72...so sad. I met her at a party once. A very nice lady with an incredible voice who really made a difference.

Vaya con Dios, Mary Travers.

hrg

It was Peter Paul and Mary that cause me to fall in love with folk music. When the song "puff the Magic Dragon" first came out I was only five. But I would rush over to the Hi Fi and press my ear to the speaker just to here them sing that song. We will miss her.

Ed Winters. Pomona California. :(
