My 3 daughters, who are all the same age (irish triplets) for a few more days this month, got together for my birthday in November and bought tickets to Arlo's March 5 concert at the Birchmere. They have never forgotten being at the Montomery County Fairgrounds when Arlo signed some albums and then visited with us for what one of my daughters said was 'a long time'. He left quite an impression with them.

So this Birchmere concert was very special to me from the beginning, only made complete by being there again after so many years away. It could have been 15 years since I last saw him play, yet everything good with the world came flooding back and it felt as though my heart started beating again after years of holding my breath (working in Washington can do that to you I guess, but then I realized "only if you let it"). He was very generous with his performance to a very appreciative audience.

Go glad to be back in the fold! The evening was excellent and I couldn't help but sing along. This was the first time in many years that I've come away from an event feeling completely happy, inside and out. To be sure, I will not miss anymore ADG concerts when they come my way — and I will also remember to breathe:).

I can't imagine that I am the only one who has had this sort of experience of unremembered joy among those who post here. Once a blunderite, always a blunderite.

Thanks for the recussitation!

I could use it about now. You are definitely not the only one.

Recussitation? Take two dreams, and blunder in the morning. Unfortunately the dreams, like the drugs, can wear off too! Rinse and repeat :)

Glad to know that

I didn't get to go to that show so you sat in my seat. :) Glad you had a good time. It always happens at Arlo shows...

I know you sing better than I do. :) I cannot sing. That's also why I play instruments...
