It was a beautiful evening - not too warm (needed to bundle up a little toward the end of the evening). The show was opened by the Haunted Windchimes - a local band from Pueblo CO... they play a sort of bluesy trad-folk-bluegrass fusion, and are (I think) well worth listening to.

Terrie came up from Albuquerque for the show, and I know she kept a setlist, so I'll leave that for her to post. I can say that Arlo was in fine fettle, and seemed to be enjoying doing a show (without having to coordinate with the band, so he could play whatever came to mind).

We had an opportunity to talk with Arlo after the show, and he is glad to be heading home for about a month before starting the new tour.

Sorry... I haven't visited here in a long time. Arlo cut his hair (only a little bit, but it definitely perked up those long beautiful curls). His voice was strong and clear... sounded great. And for Cheryl H, he wore light-colored socks with sandals, a white shirt with some kind of pale print, and his black vest. He sometimes pulled his glasses up to rest on the top of his head making his hair fall back and wavy. He looked more awake than he told us he was (he was still 'in Denmark' timewise).

I did have a chance to speak with him for a few minutes several hours before the show and he met the love of my life, Juan, who lives up there, not far from Wyld. At one point, shortly before the show, Wyld was eating a sandwich and didn't want a pickle! Can you imagine that? If you go to my Facebook, you'll see pics of the pickle... and Arlo

He opened with Chilling of the Evening, which is the FIRST song I ever heard and the one that got me hooked from the very beginning... July 1970.

In the Shade of the Old Apple Tree
talking about songwriting and not sitting downstream of BD
Darkest Hour!!!!!
St. James Infirmary
Cornbread, Peas, Molasses
Motorcycle Song (Wyld didn't want a pickle!)
Haleiwa Blues
Old Shep
Me and My Goose
Mooses Come Walking
Coming into Los Angeles
Green, Green Rocky Road
Deportees (some things just don't change after 60+ years)
song about hearing my mother's voice in my heart???
Alabama Bound
another Ledbelly song I didn't recognize (shame on me!)
CONO
This Land
Story of Joseph
Mentions knowing how Moses feels because "I've been doing this for 40 years"
story about seeing Jackie for the first time when staying in LA with Jack Elliott
Highway in the Wind
My Peace and audience sing-along

Phenomenal evening on many counts... got to see an old and dear friend (Wyld) and her friend Joan.

Wow, I thought his hair looked kinda cut from recent pics. Too bad Mike is missing it but I guess he looks down from heaven and sees. Thanks for the show report and info. Wish the next yrs shows were sooner...
