Mom passed away quietly in her sleep a little while ago. My sister was with her. It's a good thing; she was ready to go.

She didn't die on her birthday, which is tomorrow. She was gonna be 86.

We're not having a funeral; she didn't want one. She's being cremated, and we'll have a memorial gathering for her in Indiana when we can get the maximum amount of friends and relatives together in a few weeks. We'll put her ashes in the grave next to where my dad's were placed, in the little cemetary in Clear Creek, Indiana, (just outside of Bloomington) where all my grandparents and many, many relatives from the early 1800's to present have come to rest.

I'm still going down to Florida tomorrow; I can at least help my sister with some stuff that needs to be done.

Your mom must have been a wonderful mom, to have daughters so loving and caring of her. I'm sorry for your loss but happy that you have had each other. Blundervibes and love to you and your sister as you go through this.

The 19th was my Dad's birthday

It was a somber day but filled with only the good memories. That's all you need to take from this Hon...The good stuff and how lucky we both were that no matter how short their time here...that we had the honor of them being our parents.

I reckon that's why we picked 'em

Vibes & Prayers, Sue!

We lost my Brother's Step Daughter Gabby at 19 who got hit by a car in South Africa. She was walking her dog.

I hear my Brother was about to go for a jog when he so the Airlift take her away. They called hours latter to the Hospital to hear the worst.

I'm getting tired of this stuff.
