Hi,this is Denny's older brother (by one year) Greg.
I know this is quite belated and though I've been here many times to post a comment I just hadn't been able to find the proper words to express my real feelings and don't know if I ever will but I would like to say a few words to:

DENNIS,I love you and miss you! and if you can read my heart you know there's much more that words can't say.
ps..if I had it to do all over I still wouldn't go to kindergarten without you.

Deb,Love you too! Thanks for having been there giving Dennis the love and purpose that every man needs.
ps..you got my phone number, please, if I can help you out in any way,
call me.

Arlo and Family,You guys were a HUGE part of Denny's life.I know that he loved you all as much as his first family.Thank you for having been there!
ps..Abe,though it wasn't often I'll miss seeing you.My sons Erik and Jason said to tell you that anytime you want to play video games with them, just 'come on down.'

Greg

Its been 8 weeks now and yet it still feels like it happened yesterday! Its hard to get through a day without some reminder of our life together. While I know that one day I will be thankful for all the memories, right now its still painful to realize there won't be any more.

The State is planning to dedicate the Lenox Depot after Dennis, which is where he usually worked. I'm not sure when the ceremony is yet (it was supposed to be this month) but I will let you know when I find out.

I am thankful for family and friends who continue to hold us in your thoughts.

Its Official! The Mass Highway's Maintenance Facility at Lenox is now the "Dennis H. LaChapelle Maintence Facility"! Most of the family were there for the ceremony and the lunch that was put together by Dennis' friends and co-workers!

Greg took some great pictures which I'm sure are better than mine but I can't figure out how to post them here!

I was presented with a framed picture of the sign along with a citation from Gov. Patrick. It was a wonderful ceremony and it was so nice to actually meet some of the people I had about from Dennis! Stories were told and Dennis was there with us!

We missed you, Eileen but I hope you're feeling better! Greg got some pictures and I'll have to send you the ones I took because I can't post them here! And thank you so much for the picture from Robin's wedding!

That is so cool! He definitely deserved it. Also Silver Eagle or Prevost needs to name a line of buses after him...

I can't believe it's almost a year since Uncle Dennis passed from this earth. I still miss him and think of him often. That SH** eating grin he always had. His memories will always bring a smile to my face. Are you watching out for all of us, Uncle Dennis?? Luv and miss you Your niece Pat B Arlo and family, words can never express the joy you brought to his short life. The wedding ceremony, the memorial, you were all good friends to him. Deb, you kept that smile from leaving his face, EVER!!
