They haven't fired up the CERN supercollider yet. There was some sort of problem that delayed it a few months. So we still have a chance to be sucked into another universe. I agree with Kevin; the un-neutron bomb test is WAY over-due!

Sucked into another universe... maybe that might be o.k.... or at least interesting.

Ummmmmmm............ look around....we ARE in another universe! :D

Here's one for Louise!

I was reading this week that they mapped the genome of kangaroos and found it was almost identical to that of humans.Altough it claimed our last common ancester was 150 million years ago, it was very close. It mentioned that our last common ancester to the mouse was 70 million years ago, for whatever that is worth. It also stated that Kangaroos originated in China.

That is strange!

I guess they don't have a Craig's List in that area. Yes, not having to pay a dumping fee is a possibility.
(maybe the dump was closed that day? =)

I bet they were hoping someone who could use it would pick it up. For a lot of folks, it's having the room for one. I see one for free on Craig's pretty often. I keep wondering why no one is taking it.

My Great Aunt had a piano. I would always mess with it when we visited as I was growing up. I found out later that she gave it to me, but my Parents said no because they didn't have the room. :?

I just noticed I use "I" a lot...not so strange, but true anyway. 8)

well of course i took it personal...i have had it since i was a teenager

(you mean it is that old!?) :)

actually, since you mentioned alice in wonderland earlier it reminds me now that the person who gave me my first alice book is the same person who gave me that tree! she would invite me over sometimes and i would often grab that book off the shelf and look at it.
