Revisited the site where Godzilla attacked us four years ago in Darling Harbour, Sydney, Australia. This time the coast was clear as seen below. People walking around as if nothing ever happens. How they forget! Nice to be back anyways and looking forward to a great time down under...

Good to have you back here Arlo.

Lets hope the weather holds out.

Are you off to see the sights of the area or are you outta here straight away.

I'm looking foward to seeing you in the coming weeks. Hope I get the chance to have a chat when you're performing in sydney.

Smart move, getting there at night. Everyone knows that Godzilla ain't nocturnal.(well, almost everyone, I'm not sure about those poor daytime type people stuck between his toes)

See Lar, I was telling the truth about the Vegemite sanger. No Godz this time.

It'll be a bit chilly down there after coming from Haleiwa. Sunday is the first day of Winter here. It's gonna be cold in Katoomba!

Up here in the sub tropics it's chilly in the morning but the days are beaut!

See you soon adg.

Simply amazing! I mean I've seen and studied all the Godzilla movies I could find, you know, just in case.I think the Bush people have been too, which might explain the success they have had in Iraq. But I digress....
I've seen them throw tanks, planes, bombs, machine guns, flame throwers, electricity and even nukes at this Godzilla guy, and all with no results. You feed him some vegemite, and he's gone! Now, tell me with a straight face that you don't think vegemite should be listed as a WMD!

Can we get a large supply of Vegemite sent to the White House?... oh.. wait... I'll see if I can find some here... the Resident is going to be in CS tonight and tomorrow for the Air Force Academy graduation ceremony.

No, I'm not going to be one of the protesters at the Academy gates tomorrow. I feel that the graduates have worked hard, and will continue to serve our country the best they can, and I don't want to mess up "their" day. (W is already doing that, by being their commencement speaker.)

Real neat photo** IS the food expensive?? How about rent's and over all living? Not that I would ever think of leaving Massachusetts or TAXachusetts!
Give us the wandering Folksinger report and the Phantom diner report.

(Where could we have as much fun as the Guthrie Center!)

Should I not think of food- off to the Gym I go. I even bought a nice Schwinn
bike to rebel against gas at $4.00 plus per gallon !!!

Flat ab's Dreamin

I am in Adelaide and coming down after a wonderful concert last night. Very intimate with 3-400 people as the show coincided with a home game for the Adelaide Crows and Crows supporters are loyal to no-one next to a home game. Last concert here was almost a sellout but that's how it goes. The word needs to get out about Arlo G concerts because they are the ultimate in live entertainment - beautiful guitar/piano work, uplifting songs, great story-telling - to think that thousands went to see Dylan here last year, a concert promoted with images of mid-60's Dylan, and most were disappointed after the first few songs (except those of us who had done our homework on the Dylan writings and recent recordings) and every one of those poor souls would have had a ball at the concert last night. Next time, Arlo. We'll guarantee a better roll-up, just give us some ammo for some good promotion and some front row seats in return. And as I said to you after the concert, you must get a recording of the live solo reunion show as you did with the Sydney one. I just have to have a copy of that show for posterity. We all do. Think of the special meaning of that recording of your dad that surfaced recently. The world needs your concert for posterity. A DVD would even be better. Just superb and thanks for the experience.

Saw the concert in Sydeny last night. Great show, pleased to have a great seat in the second row, but just being there would have been good. Thanks again Arlo for signing the CD. I agree with painless a DVD would be awesome.

I was thinking of going over the Sydney for that concert but events overtook me. Was the concert well attended?
