Thought you'd all get a kick out of how little has changed. Here's an old photo of Jack Guthrie (L) and my dad, Woody Guthrie (R) from about 1928. These guys are the original Beverly Hillbillies (or at least they were advertising a gig). We're still on the road, still living in the hills, still got hats. The vehicles have slightly improved. adg

I did not know there was Beverly Hillbillies back in those days. I thought the Beverly Hillbillies originated back in 1962 with four mountaineers with dumb blonde personalities living in a prehistoric rabbit-eared box equipped with a cement pond and a iron gate prison....Man I gotta get out more often :roll:

Yeah, the vehicles have improved, BUT, did they have a driver named Killer? :)
