86 :?: And you are speaking of fall. Good morning everybody, 86- wish we'd had more of that during our summer. Fall has arrived over here with about 10-15°C, should be something like 60 F. And no sun.
Have a nice day.

wuz up you ask? Some strange backhalf left a note on the door of my store this morning at 8:12 am. Of course I don't open until 9:30, so once again the fronthalf and the backhalf avoided being in the same place at the same time.

well if you're gonna fritter away the whole day in bed until 9:30, you should leave a key under the mat next time... I hadda turn away tons of people flockin' to the Suck-n-Sew when they saw me beatin' on the front door! Of course by the time you got there, it was probably all quiet and peaceful like again... go figure!

(I realized it was the "curse of the halfs" as soon as I saw that the fronthalf was nowhere to be seen in the general vicinity of the backhalf at that very moment in time!)

I think it's like the matter and anti-matter theory that some smart guys have, if they ever meet up in the same place for too long, say one billionth of a nanosecond, the universe will implode. Sort of a reverse big bang.

That happened here, too--Ken beating down the door, but it was Monday, when Jay's shop is closed. as the sign on the door says. Jay was there but thought it was a pesky symphony player, so he ignored Ken. You guys need to learn to communicate! (Yeah, right--when pigs fly!)

I remember hearing something about that... rest assured, if backhalf ever finds himself in the texas vicinity, considering their liberal death penalty rulings, he will check the schedules before bangin' on doors (or anything else that is bang-able)!
